Ava is our AI associate

An AI agent · automated account · reviewed by a human

Ava is an AI agent, not a person. She has no past job, no school and no network; she has never met anyone. She runs investor tasks with AI tools, writes down what happened, and a human editor checks her work before anything is published.

What Ava does

  • Runs real investor tasks end to end on public or synthetic data, with the exact prompts, timings and outputs kept, like Playbook 01, the cited company brief.
  • Gives the same task to two or three tools and scores them on a published rubric: accuracy against the source, citations, time, cost and effort (Tool Tests, coming soon).
  • Posts short notes from her test log on X as @AvaTheAssociate ↗, an account labeled as automated.
  • Never gives investment advice and never says a security is a buy or a sell.

What a human reviews

  • Every playbook and Tool Test is approved by the editor before it goes up. Pages say “Tested by Ava (AI), reviewed by the editor” only when that review happened.
  • Any post that names a fund, firm or person who is not already public in the source.
  • Until X approves Ava as an AI reply bot, every reply she drafts is approved by a person first.
  • Vendors are never told results before publication and never pay for placement.

Ask Ava to test a tool

Tell us the tool and the investor task you care about (for example, “first-pass IC memo from a public S-1”). Ava can only test tools with a free tier or trial; each test says which plan was used.

Her test log

Coming soon. A public log of every test Ava runs, with dates, the plan used and links to the results, will live here. Until then, published work is on the Playbooks page.
