Serac Ventures turned off its auto-reject bot after it passed on a winner

Serac built a screener that matched inbound deals to its thesis, auto-booked meetings and auto-passed the rest. After it rejected a company the team later invested in, they kept AI for extraction into Airtable and put a human back on every pass.
