Cognitive Credit raises $40M strategic growth investment led by Summit Partners
Cognitive Credit, which supplies verified corporate credit data, models and AI workflow tools, raised a $40 million strategic growth investment led by Summit Partners, with ETFS Capital participating. Its data covers more than 3,500 bond and syndicated loan issuers and is delivered through a platform, an API, an Excel add-in and a native Claude connector. Summit says it supports analytical workflows at more than 80% of the top 25 global asset managers by AUM and all top 10 debt league-table banks. The company says the money goes to new products, including agentic credit analysis, and US expansion.
Credit analysts are getting source-traceable data piped straight into AI assistants, which makes agent-drafted credit work easier to check before it reaches committee.
