Legora raises $550M Series E at an $8.8B valuation, led by Atreides Management
Legal AI company Legora raised a $550 million Series E that values it at $8.8 billion. Atreides Management led the round, with Baron Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst and Menlo among the investors. Legora said its annual recurring revenue is now over $200 million, up from $100 million in April, and it plans to use the money to expand across North America. The raise comes a month after rival Harvey raised $550 million at a $15.5 billion valuation.
The two legal AI platforms that deal counsel use for diligence are both now heavily funded, so expect faster product pushes into M&A and fund-formation work.
