Telegram's Walt app lets ChatGPT, Claude or Mira agents trade crypto perpetual futures from a ring-fenced account
Walt, the Telegram crypto app formerly called Wallet in Telegram, now lets users hand perpetual futures trading to AI agents, connecting ChatGPT, Claude or Mira, an agent from Walt's developer The Open Platform. A connected agent can pull live prices and news, review positions, leverage and liquidation risk, open or close long and short positions, and set take-profit and stop-loss orders. Agents trade only from a dedicated account the user funds, cannot withdraw money, and start with order execution switched off.
Retail crypto traders can now let general-purpose chatbots place leveraged trades, with guardrails limited to a ring-fenced account and opt-in execution.
