Dexterity Law launches as an AI-enabled M&A firm for deals of $2M to $20M, including sales to private equity
Dexterity Law launched as a new M&A law firm built around AI workflows, led by Thomas Romer, who spent more than 25 years at firms including Greenberg Traurig and BakerHostetler and is vice chair of the ABA's M&A Technology Subcommittee. It targets deals with enterprise values of $2 million to $20 million, including owners selling to private equity, and charges flat, outcome-based fees. Its tech stack covers the deal from LOI and NDA through due diligence, negotiation and close.
Lower middle market deals have often been too small to justify big-firm legal fees, so AI-run, flat-fee deal counsel could make diligence and closing cheaper for PE buyers and the founders selling to them.
