Swedish VC Creandum closes €668 million CVIII fund - its largest to date
Stockholm VC Creandum closed Creandum VIII at €668 million ($750 million), its largest fund to date, to back early-stage technology startups from pre-Seed to Series A. The firm says it will make about 30 investments over the next two years, remaining a generalist while paying particular attention to opportunities from rapid AI development. Internally, Creandum is adopting AI-based processes to identify investment opportunities, evaluate companies and support its portfolio.
A large European early-stage firm is treating AI as both a portfolio theme and an operating upgrade for sourcing, evaluation and portfolio support.
