Volaren launches a personal investing agent that trades across linked brokerage accounts within user-set limits
○ Auto-checkedIndependent report
Y Combinator-backed Volaren launched an AI agent that links a user's brokerage and bank accounts and places trades within limits the user sets, for $12 a month. Users pick one of three modes: notify only, approve each batch, or trade automatically within limits. Founderland lists brokers including Robinhood, Webull, Public, E*TRADE and Alpaca, plus crypto through Coinbase, Kraken and Binance.
Why it matters for investors
Retail and active traders now have a consumer agent that can execute trades on their own accounts, not just suggest them, which raises the bar on guardrails and suitability questions.
