Akka.app launches Daniel, a Claude-based AI that explains private-market deals to its investors
French private-markets platform Akka.app launched Daniel, an AI assistant that answers members' questions about the deals listed on the platform, such as a company's valuation, risks, stage and deal mechanics. Daniel is built on Claude and enriched with seven to eight years of IPO, pre-IPO and private equity deal data, and it draws on company documents, Akka's own due diligence, open-source information and the user's portfolio. Akka says the tool informs and explains but does not make investment decisions, and was tested for several months before launch.
Retail access platforms for private deals are adding AI explainers, so individual investors will see more deal analysis written by a model trained on the platform's own diligence.
