$20B RIA Modera Wealth Management launches Mira, an in-house agentic AI platform for its advisors
Modera Wealth Management, a fee-only firm in Westwood, N.J., with about $20 billion in assets under administration and more than 6,300 clients, launched Mira, a proprietary agentic AI platform built over two years. Mira connects data from the firm's wealth tech stack and document system into a household-level system of record, and Modera is working with OnTrade on digital agents for planning, proposals and investment research that act with human approvals. The firm says Mira has been in use across Modera since July 2026 and will help firms it acquires consolidate their data.
A large RIA chose to build its own governed AI layer rather than stack point tools, a model other acquisitive wealth firms may copy.
