DealsFlow: an evidence-gated agentic harness for venture capital deal triage, tested at a UK early-stage fund
○ Auto-checkedReported
An arXiv preprint describes DealsFlow, a human-in-the-loop agentic harness for triaging pitch decks, deployed at a UK early-stage venture fund. On 142 investments at least three years old it ranked deals with Spearman 0.45 and AUC 0.71, against 0.38 and 0.68 for an unconstrained LLM, and cut analyst time per application from 44.7 to 18.9 minutes. Of 240 cited claims, 84% were supported by evidence, but 70% of reports still needed at least one correction.
Why it matters for investors
A rare live-fund test of AI deal screening with real outcomes: faster triage and better ranking, but humans still had to fix most reports.
