Hg and Anthropic back a new European AI transformation company built on Claude
On 3 November 2026, private equity firm Hg announced an agreement to invest, with participation from Anthropic and angel investors, in a new AI transformation company that will formally launch later this year. The independent entity will work with European organisations on responsible AI adoption and AI-native product builds, using Claude and forward deployed engineers. Hg said it has over $110 billion in assets under management and described itself as an AI leader in private equity.
A large European PE house is putting capital and Anthropic partnership into an operating vehicle that helps portfolio-style businesses move Claude from pilots into production.
